OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
To obtain ample understanding of:
Module 1 – Self-esteem: the effects, definitions, characteristics of and factors influencing self-esteem
Module 2 – Locus of Control: definition, types, history, applications of Locus of Control
Module 3 – Neuroplasticity: definition, examples and applications of neuroplasticity
Module 4 – ‘Windows of Perception’: definition, theory, concepts and applications
Module 5 – Windows of Perception Processing Technique execution (practical): practical experience
Module 6 – Emotional Intelligence: specifically: history of emotional intelligence; definitions, history, models, effects and utilisation of emotional intelligence
Module 7 – Effective Parenting: definitions, practices and styles of parenting
Module 8 – Effective coaching: definition, origins and applications of coaching
Module 9 – Ethics: definitions and application
OBJECTIVES
Gain an in-depth comprehension of all modules and the relevant research
MATERIALS NEEDED
Computer
Head/earphones
Video-recording apparatus
Software-recording apparatus
ASSIGNMENT
A 2,000 word essay for each module 1-4 and 6-9 on your understanding of the topic.
A 1,000 word review of your chosen book, from the options in each modules 1-4 and 6-9, in your own words.
Proof of 25 hours of practice, utilisation and refinement of the execution of the Windows of Perception Processing Technique in module 5 as evidence of face to face training.
Observe your immediate environment – friends, family, colleagues, online etc., to recognise the concepts within each module, to further grasp of the topic. Describe your observations in writing.
For module 5, execution of the ‘Windows of Perception Processing Technique’, to further grasp of the topic through practice as well as completion of practical evidence (25 hours). This can be achieved utilising other coaches in training, mentors, volunteers, friends, colleagues, family members etc. This should include a minimum of 10 hours of video evidence and the remaining (if any) as audio evidence.
A platform has also been created to enable matching between other coaches in training, volunteers and mentors, in order to facilitate this process.
